I offer the following services for uncovering and documenting information about your ancestors, as well as preserving information about people who are still living:
Genealogical research and reporting
Repository visits
Interpreting DNA test results
Lineage society applications
Writing family narratives and life stories
Recording oral histories
Crafting pre-need obituaries
My research and writing rate is $50/hour, and yes, I do offer gift certificates! I also offer a reduced rate of $25/hour for side-by-side consultation, where we sit together to look at what you have, develop a research plan, and search for records together - this works well in-person or via Zoom. Record search and retrieval is also $25/hour.
Prior to beginning any work, we will discuss your needs and agree on the best way to move forward - this first meeting is always free of charge. If you have questions, or don't see what you are looking for, please contact me at keepfamilyhistory (at) gmail.com - I will do my best to assist you!
PRESENTATIONS
I enjoy sharing what I've learned with genealogical societies, libraries, community groups, and beyond! I keep a list of topics I've presented in the past, and am open to creating new talks based on the interest of the group. Please contact me to learn more!
